Try These 5-Ingredient Gluten-Free Brownies

Get ready for the simplest brownies you have ever made in your life. Yes, you CAN have brownies while living a Lifestylestyle – no food processor or obscure ingredients necessary. These deliciously rich, soft, and fudgy brownies are made with only five cleanse-friendly ingredients that you most likely already have in your pantry!

BROWNIES THAT HAVE VITAMINS AND MINERALS

They make a perfect cleanse snack, while providing you with clean protein, magnesium, fiber, vitamin C and natural energy. The rich, dark chocolate taste of these will satisfy any afternoon sweet craving.

These brownies are vegan and gluten-free, making them a great treat for kids and anyone with dietary sensitivities. Plus, they are healthy enough to eat for breakfast. You can’t beat that!

Makes about 18 small brownies

Ingredients:

½ cup almond butter

½ cup raw cacao

1 cup unsweetened applesauce

1-2 tablespoons coconut sugar

1 teaspoon alcohol-free vanilla extract

Coconut oil for greasing the pan

Optional add-ins: cacao nibs, coconut flakes, walnuts

Directions:

Grease a 9-inch square pan with a bit of coconut oil. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Mix together the almond butter, cacao, applesauce, coconut sugar, vanilla extract and any additional add-ins in one medium-sized mixing bowl.

Pour mixture into greased pan and bake for 35-40 minutes. You’ll know that they are done when you can stick a knife in the middle and it comes out clean.

Allow the brownies to cool completely.

Cut them into about 1 inch squares, or to desired size. They should still be soft, fragile and deliciously fudgy.
