Tips for a Better Thanksgiving

Here are five simple ways to feel better this Thanksgiving.

Veggies: Focus on adding lots of veggies to your holiday meals to reduce overeating,  and the feeling of after-meal sluggishness. The veggies will also provide you with crucial plant phytonutrients to boost your immune system.

Multi: A high-quality multivitamin helps supply the daily nutrients your body needs to work best, and also supports the immune system during the flu season.

Shake: Have a shake for breakfast on the day after your Thanksgiving feast  to give your digestive system a break. The easily-digestible nutrients will ensure that you are getting what you need for the day without adding more stress to the body.

Digestive Enzyme: Take a digestive enzyme with any big meal, especially fatty and protein heavy meals. An enzyme will support digestion by helping your body break down and absorb the nutrients from the food.

Holiday Treats: Be intentional when you eat your holiday treats. Being aware of the tastes and textures while you eat them will reduce overeating. Even better, make the clean desserts from the recipe guide.

From all of us at Clean, we wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving!
