I hated veggies when I was kid, no matter how much my parents tried to get me to eat more vegetables. I remember as a kid, I would split lima beans on my plate to make it look like I ate them.
But a new Spanish study shows that if I had been able to choose my veggies when I was young, I would have eaten up to 80% more.
Here’s another tip to get your kids to eat more vegetables, especially the dark green ones. Let them eat their veggies with dip. According to the Family Eating Laboratory at Temple’s Center for Obesity Research and Education, a small amount of dip dramatically increases vegetable consumption. All you have to do is find a clean dip that works.
