The old adage that breakfast is the most important meal might actually be true.
According to this infographic from Massive Health, we eat our healthiest meal at breakfast, and then our food choices become less healthy for every hour that passes. In fact, “dinner is 15.9% less healthy than breakfast”.
If we eat breakfast, we are more likely to eat healthier foods for the rest of the day than those who skip breakfast. Make that a fiber-rich breakfast and you’ll feel more satisfied, eat less overall, and have less cravings.
And, if on the weekends, you consume more junk food and alcohol, you’re not alone. Most people eat and drink unhealthier foods on the weekend with Sunday being the least healthy day of all.
When do you eat unhealthily? Time will tell.
