For Cleanse, Refresh and Gut
Today we have a simple recipe to share that will extend the life of your fresh ginger and allow you to easily incorporate it into both your sweet and savory meals.
This potent juice can be used as a supplement and consumed whenever you feel chilly or a little under the weather, as it boosts circulation and gives your immune system a kick.
Makes: 1 pint
Prep time: 5 minutes
1 cup freshly sliced ginger
2 cups water
optional: squeeze of honey, coconut water or water
Place the ginger and water in a blender and blend on a high setting for 30 seconds.
Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh strainer.
Store the juice, refrigerated, in a container for up to two weeks.
Enjoy a shot of ginger straight up, or add a dash of honey and coconut water.
