There are two things that i’m loving these days: early morning workouts and a super quick, post-workout blueberry shake. This blueberry shake as high-energy as it gets, both in taste and in nutrients. This mason jar is full of large servings of antioxidants, good fats, plant-based protein, and an extra kick of greens. The tahini adds a great flavor and slows down the sugar release from the blueberries. Since blueberries are low in sugar and high in fiber, they are the perfect fruit to go along with the Clean Program.

Incorporating last week’s gluten-free waffle recipe, here’s a complete meal that shows just one of the many ways you can use those versatile (and yummy) waffles. Our healthy chicken and waffles recipe is a Clean twist on the classic Southern meal. Usually served fried and covered in syrup, we’ve made this version entirely suitable for lunch on the Clean Gut Cleanse, by baking the chicken instead instead of frying and using coconut for the breading. And of course the waffles are gluten-free. This meal is packed with tender and juicy protein for some seriously healthy chicken and waffles and incredibly delicious grub. Hope y’all enjoy.

The Thai-inspired meal takes an unhealthy childhood-favorite food and turns it into a nutritious option for adults and children, without sacrificing flavor or the comfort-factor These chicken nuggets are great for parties and family dinners, and leftovers are perfect on top of lunchtime salads. The Thai dipping sauce is also fantastic, and the Clean team has been known to make just the sauce and use it with everything from roasted vegetables to salads; some of us even eat it with a spoon. It’s that good.

The Best Pulled Chicken Recipe for a Quick Meal

Pulled chicken is the perfect way to use up leftover chicken from any recipe, especially the Slow Cooked Chicken from last week. Tender and flavorful, it’s reminiscent of pulled pork but Cleanse-friendly, so don’t think that you cannot enjoy this mead during the 21-Day Clean Cleanse. Note that the pomegranate molasses might require some extra effort to find, but most health food stores do carry it and it’s worth it.
