A good crock pot recipe is a Clean kitchen staple, especially if you have a large family and need an easy-to-prepare dinner option to please everyone. You can find a crock pot recipe almost anywhere on the web, but our cleanse-approved version is full of functional ingredients that will fill you up without building mucus or inflammation in your body.

Best Crock Pot Recipe On a Cleanse

All of the ingredients in our crock pot recipe are approved foods during the 21-Day Clean Program, meaning that this satisfying meal is free from gluten, dairy, and other foods that can cause small to severe reactions from brain fog to constipation.

Our crock pot recipe is made with naturally medicinal mushrooms which are a great source of a variety of minerals such as immunity-boosting selenium, thyroid-balancing copper, and bone-strengthening phosphorus. Mushrooms contain energizing protein and iron and are an essential vegan food for boosting the nutritional value of your daily meals during or after your cleanse.

Breaking Your Cleanse with a Crock Pot Recipe

This crock pot recipe can easily be modified to include some foods that are to be avoided on the cleanse if you are reintroducing them or simply not following a cleanse or elimination diet. Post-cleanse, you may wish to include organic tomatoes (a non-approved nightshade), or replace the meat in this recipe with grass-fed beef.

Processed meats and non-approved corn-fed beef can cause puffiness in the body along with more long-term severe side effects.

Factory-farmed grain-fed red meat is highly acidic to the body and taxing on our elimination organs as well as the environment. High use of hormones and antibiotics in animals raised for meat is harmful to humans and contains less protein and more unhealthy fats.

The lamb meat in this crock pot recipe is not only a great source of lean protein, it’s high in B vitamins, iron, and zinc to provide a functional meal to maintain essential muscle and energy levels without some of the side effects of less optimally sourced meats.
