AA string of holidays are right around the corner, which means lots of holiday festivities and fun. It’s a time to celebrate with friends and family, but it also means we’re now constantly surrounded by holiday treats and sweets. So we’ve put together a list of holiday treats that will help you join the party but stay true to your wellness plan. Here’s a group of recipes from the Clean Eats archives; sweets that you can serve or bring to gatherings and parties, give as gifts, or just treat yourself and your family to refined sugar-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free goodies. Cheers!

Blueberry Coconut Cake

I discovered a version of this cake on one of my favourite food and photography blogs, Roost. They call it a Coconut Dream Cake and it is indeed dreamy. It’s a paleo recipe (they adapted it from Make it Paleo; proof that this cake has been tested and loved by many!) so it’s grain-free, packed with protein and low-glycemic ingredients. You’ll feel like you’re indulging in a decadent treat but being packed with protein and healthy fats, there’s nothing to feel guilty about. PS. Kids go nuts for these too.
