Meatloaf is a classic comfort food. We’ve created a version that is filled with fibrous veggies, high-quality protein, and perfect spice, plus it's loaded with flavor that will have you repeating this recipe all year long. This turkey meatloaf is perfect for sneaking extra veggies into your kid's meals and for meal prepping.
The summertime usually means lots of beer, fried foods, cheesy dips, and hot wings doused in ranch dressing. Since we love celebrating with friends and delicious food, we love coming up with wholesome versions of the classics. We've created a healthier chicken wings recipe by baking the wings instead of deep-frying and using unprocessed fats and seasonings to add flavor. If you are currently cleansing, you can feel free to use our Buffalo Cauliflower recipe instead!
There are two things that i’m loving these days: early morning workouts and a super quick, post-workout blueberry shake. This blueberry shake as high-energy as it gets, both in taste and in nutrients. This mason jar is full of large servings of antioxidants, good fats, plant-based protein, and an extra kick of greens. The tahini adds a great flavor and slows down the sugar release from the blueberries. Since blueberries are low in sugar and high in fiber, they are the perfect fruit to go along with the Clean Program.
Incorporating last week’s gluten-free waffle recipe, here’s a complete meal that shows just one of the many ways you can use those versatile (and yummy) waffles. Our healthy chicken and waffles recipe is a Clean twist on the classic Southern meal. Usually served fried and covered in syrup, we’ve made this version entirely suitable for lunch on the Clean Gut Cleanse, by baking the chicken instead instead of frying and using coconut for the breading. And of course the waffles are gluten-free. This meal is packed with tender and juicy protein for some seriously healthy chicken and waffles and incredibly delicious grub. Hope y’all enjoy.
This is chicken nuggets recipe is one of our all-time favorites from Chef Frank. The Thai-inspired meal takes an unhealthy childhood-favorite food and turns it into a nutritious option for adults and children, without sacrificing flavor or the comfort-factor These chicken nuggets are great for parties and family dinners, and leftovers are perfect on top of lunchtime salads. The Thai dipping sauce is also fantastic, and the Clean team has been known to make just the sauce and use it with everything from roasted vegetables to salads; some of us even eat it with a spoon. It’s that good.
Pulled chicken is the perfect way to use up leftover chicken from any recipe, especially the Slow Cooked Chicken from last week. Tender and flavorful, it’s reminiscent of pulled pork but Cleanse-friendly, so don’t think that you cannot enjoy this mead during the 21-Day Clean Cleanse. Note that the pomegranate molasses might require some extra effort to find, but most health food stores do carry it and it’s worth it.
We’re really excited about this one. Enjoy!
As the weather turns colder, we welcome chicken recipes like this. Comforting and melt-in-your-mouth flavorful, it’s definitely a favorite of both Clean Chefs and everyone we make it for! It’s okay and cleanse-friendly to use white wine in cooking since the sugar and alcohol cooks off. Try this recipe while on the 21-Day Clean Program. Cheers!
Here is a delicious and nutritious chicken stir fry meal that’s quick and a whole family-pleaser. This recipe is a Cleaner alternative to the chicken stir fry we may find when we go out to eat. The pickiest of eaters will gobble up this meal, and it works with whatever vegetables at hand. Don’t be afraid to change it up with what’s in your fridge, garden, or at the local farmers’ market. Enjoy!
This sunflower seed recipe is incredible versatile. It’s packed with protein, magnesium and vitamin E, and it’s a great anti-inflammatory. So do your body a world of good while noshing on a quick and easy snack that’s perfect on just about anything. We toss with mixed greens, gluten free or veggie noodles, spread on apple slices, use in place of pesto, or just enjoy by the spoonful. . . let us know how you love to use it!
This chicken and spinach dish made anything but ordinary with an unexpected ingredient. We find this dish to be a nutritionally-rich and incredibly delicious meal. It works as lunch for anyone on the 21-Day Clean Program, and it’s a great healthy recipe for any other time.
